CLINICAL NEUROPSYCHOLOGIST

Dr. Greenfield is a licensed clinical neuropsychologist with over 10 years of experience in the field. She earned a BA in psychology at UPenn and a PsyD in clinical psychology at CSPP. Dr. Greenfield completed clinical training rotations at UC Irvine Medical School, Kaiser Permanente, and Pasadena Rehabilitation Institute, as well as a postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at Insight Collective with Dr. Boxer. Dr. Greenfield is a skilled diagnostician, with expertise in assessing children and teens with socioemotional, behavioral, and neurodevelopmental differences such as ADHD, Autism, learning disorders, and anxiety. She is particularly passionate about helping parents navigate the complexities of raising gifted and 2e students. As an experienced clinician and mother of three boys, Dr. Greenfield believes strongly in the “whole child” approach to assessment. By identifying a child’s unique strengths and interests, she is able to create a meaningful, individualized treatment plan to support their growth, success, and emotional wellbeing.

DIRECTOR OF TRAINING

Dr. Babaian is a licensed clinical neuropsychologist who received her undergraduate degree from Woodbury University and her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Health Psychology from Alliant International University, Los Angeles. She is also an adjunct faculty member who teaches courses in Psychodiagnostic Assessment and Neuropsychology. Though she has specialized in pediatric neuropsychology, Dr. Babaian has worked with individuals of all ages across various treatment settings such as medical hospitals, psychiatric facilities, schools, and community mental clinics. She is most passionate about working with children and adolescents because she believes that early identification, alongside the implementation of appropriate interventions and accommodations, can change the course of one’s future. Dr. Babaian knows that all children have hidden powers that are often overlooked and undermined when faced with adversity. She uses an integrated person-centered approach to provide a comprehensive understanding of an individual’s cognitive and emotional functioning within the context of their unique history and experiences.

CLINICAL NEUROPSYCHOLOGIST

Dr. MacCallum is a licensed clinical neuropsychologist at Insight Collective. She earned a B.Sc. in Psychology and a B.Ed. in Primary/Junior Education from the University of Toronto (Canada) and a Master’s and Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the APA-accredited California Baptist University (CBU) in Riverside, California. As an adjunct faculty member at CBU, she teaches courses in developmental psychology, group therapy, general psychology, and psychometric tests and assessments. Dr. MacCallum has worked with individuals of all ages across various treatment settings, including psychiatric facilities, private practices, community mental health clinics, and schools. She is a former elementary school teacher with experience teaching in Canada, the UK, and the USA. Her unique combination of experience in both psychology and education has shaped her approach to supporting children and adolescents in identifying and leveraging their strengths to achieve their brightest future.

CLINICAL NEUROPSYCHOLOGIST

Dr. Bergmann is a licensed clinical neuropsychologist at Insight Collective. She earned her B.A.in both Psychology and Religious Studies at the University of Denver, as well as her M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Fuller Graduate School of Psychology. Dr. Bergmann received excellent clinical training at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, UCLA Semel Institute, and several community mental health centers. She completed her APA-accredited internship at The Help Group in Sherman Oaks, California, where she focused on providing assessment, therapy, school-based services, and parent coaching specific to children and teens with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Holding firm to her belief that knowledge is power, Dr. Bergmann is particularly passionate about collaborating with parents to help them feel confident in both understanding and supporting their children. She also values the importance of early intervention and has specialized training in the assessment of infants and preschoolers. Embracing a strengths-based approach, Dr. Bergmann believes everyone is capable of thriving when provided with the support and encouragement to do so. 

SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

Catherine has been a speech-language pathologist for more than 25 years. From the beginning of her career, she has specialized in the birth to five year old population. She has special interest in tongue thrust remediation, feeding therapy, and oral motor treatment. She is trained in neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT) and Prompt, and certified in SCERTS and The Hanen Parent Training Program. Catherine has always enjoyed working with families in her therapy sessions, and is also certified in the Hanen Program for Parents. Catherine lives in Glendora with her husband and two children.

ACADEMIC & EF COACHING SPECIALIST

Elaine Ricci is the Education Director at Insight Academy. She has been an educator in both private and public school settings for nearly thirty years and considers working with children to be a calling, not a job. Her degree is in Radio and Television Broadcasting, and she holds both a California Teaching Credential and Reading Certificate. As well as being the Education Director at the Academy, she works as both an academic and executive functioning coach for students from preschool to high school and leads the popular social skills classes at Insight Collective. She equally loves traveling, spending time in museums learning from the past, and taking leaps of faith into the future by creating new ways of doing things. She likes being a big kid.

LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER

Rachel Mayer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 13 years of experience providing therapy to children, adolescents and young adults. Rachel started her career as a special education teacher. After a couple of years teaching, Rachel returned to school and received her Masters of Social Work from the University of Southern California in 2010.  Rachel works with children, families and adults to help them reach their personal goals and improve emotional wellness. Her areas of expertise include anxiety, depression and trauma. She utilizes a combination of insight-oriented practices and a cognitive behavioral approach. Rachel spends her free time going on outdoor adventures with her 1-year-old rescue dog. Rachel also enjoys hiking, yoga, and baking.

CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Dr. Hutman is a clinical and developmental psychologist and an Assistant Professor in Psychiatry at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Dr. Hutman works closely with parents to foster the best possible developmental, educational, and mental health outcomes for their children. Dr. Hutman specializes in psychotherapy for parents who are concerned about their ability to raise a child with social, emotional, or developmental challenges. He works with couples to reconcile their different perspectives, to encourage collaboration, and to promote a healthy family environment in which children can thrive.

MINDFULNESS SPECIALIST

Ann D’Angelo is a Mindfulness Educator who works with children, adults, and families. In the Pasadena area, Ann has been a leader in the field by bringing the practice of mindfulness to both public and private schools. She holds a California Teaching Credential and received her Master’s in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College. Ann is also a 200 hr. Registered Yoga Teacher. Ann lives in Altadena with her fun-loving husband and two beautiful daughters who remind her to live in the present moment daily.

CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Dr. Shacar has been working with children with special needs for over 25 years and believes that all children have unique “special” needs, making it essential for parents to understand their child’s individual profile to help them reach their fullest potential. His work is grounded in attachment theory, which highlights the importance of early relationships. With over 40 years of experience supporting children and families, he began his career at the Rollins College Child Development Center, trained with Magda Gerber in the RIE approach, and has worked across early intervention, infant mental health, trauma-informed care, and leadership roles at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and a DCFS-funded child abuse prevention program.

EDUCATIONAL THERAPY SPECIALIST

Matthew Hayutin is an educational therapist experienced at working with students of all ages and learning profiles. Matthew and his team at Hayutin Education specialize in full-service tutoring for Kindergarten through college students, providing in-home academic support in Executive Functioning, subject tutoring, reading and math remediation, educational therapy, independent study, homeschooling and test prep. Married with two children, Matthew enjoys coaching and refereeing AYSO soccer and still clings to his dream of publishing the Great American Novel.

CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Dr. Jennifer Mazmanyan is a clinical psychologist who is passionate about helping children, adolescents, and their families strengthen relationships, build self-acceptance, and develop healthy ways to manage stress. She uses evidence-based practices and strives to create a compassionate, respectful, and appropriately challenging environment where individuals can grow, explore their values, and enrich their daily lives. She completed her clinical training at Pepperdine University, the University of Hartford, and the Yale Child Study Center, working with children, adolescents, and parents in both school and hospital settings.
